"Pilgrims of Peace"

‘Be the change you wish to see in the world’.

Inspired by this invitation from Gandhi, 12 women, 12 men and a dog set out in autumn 2025 along the ancient paths of the Via Arduinna in the Belgian Ardennes, walking from Wavreumont Monastery to Orval Abbey.

Braving both the elements and the sense of powerlessness often felt in our world in turmoil, these pilgrims walk and sing for Peace. Their goal: to be Peace, within their hearts, within their community, with those they meet, and with the whole of the Living World. With every step, they realise that peace is not a destination, but a movement, a quest, and a dance, ever-renewed.

This pilgrimage marks the first steps of a long journey toward Sarajevo, which will continue in the spring of 2026.
